What will the hotels and food be like?

We have spent thousands of hours creating this itinerary to make sure it is the best in the business of Church History Travel.  Not only will the sites we visit be unforgettable, but we want to stay at hotels that are comfortable, unique, and memorable. We have built personal relationships with many of our local food providers and crave their food all year while we are waiting to go on tour. We don’t stay at budget hotels or eat at buffets.

 

What will the buses be like?

We only work with the best of the best! We only charter buses that are safe, clean, and spacious with amazing professional drivers. We are going to be spending a considerable amount of time on the bus so we want to be comfortable.

Our motorcoaches also feature overhead racks, climate-controlled air conditioning and heating systems, huge clear-vision tinted windows, and large weather-proof luggage compartments. From PA systems and roomy reclining seats to individual reading lights and spacious restrooms, these buses have everything you need for a smooth and relaxing ride.

Within 48 hours of booking: Everything is fully refundable.

After 48 hours of booking: The deposit becomes non-refundable, but is transferable to another tour. 

90+ days before the trip: Full refund for all payments except the deposit. Deposit is transferable to another tour

60-90 days before the trip: Half refund for all payments except the deposit.

Within 60 days before the trip: all payments become non-refundable. 

Anytime: You can receive a full refund, except for the deposit, if you find someone to take your place.

We didn't just visit historical sites of the restoration, we experienced them. This tour did everything to make our travel convenient and spiritual. Greg and Becky grew up one block away from each other not really knowing the other one existed! Same elementary, junior high and high school just separated by 3 years. Greg served his mission to British Columbia, Canada and after coming home attended Becky’s ward for a homecoming where the chapel doors blew open and in walked Becky and caught Greg’s attention for forever..and the rest is history! They just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Greg and Becky were blessed with 4 sons. Dallin, Alex, Colton and Jaden. Their life revolves around soccer, basketball and football games and practices. They are so excited that this year they joined the grandparents club and finally got their girl from their son Dallin and his wife, Alyssa! This grandparents stage is sure to be their favorite! Their son Alex is serving in the Hawaii mission and they will send another son, Colton, into the mission field this summer. Their youngest Jaden will rule the house for a few more years.

Greg graduated from BYU and has a Masters Degree in Education. He has been teaching seminary for 23 years and is currently teaching Institute at UVU. He has directed and taught at EFY, FSY and youth conferences for over 20 years. He also teaches online classes for BYU-I. Becky also works in the seminary world as an Administrative Assistant, works for an online retail company and helps run their family business.

Ben Lomu is a religious educator, television host and actor. He is the host for the tv show, “Come Follow Up” on BYUtv, where he has filmed over 200 episodes. As an actor he portrayed King Lamoni in the Book of Mormon video series. He has also appeared in several movies and commercials both locally and nationally. He has been a religious educator for the past 20 years and is currently teaching institute and Utah Valley University. Ben is an alumnus of the University of Utah where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminology. He also has a master’s degree in education. In 2024 he received the prestigious “Pioneer of Progress Award” in Arts and Entertainment.  Ben enjoys working out, mountain biking and marital arts. His greatest joy and accomplishment in life comes from being a husband of 23 years to his best friend, Michelle, and being the father to 4 wonderful children

Throughout the tour, I felt the Spirit often as we visited important Church history sites and learned about the faith, sacrifice, and devotion of the early Saints. Oh my gosh, this literally was most amazing experience. I am 18 and I just finished senior year in high school and have been not super sure what to do next with my life and this has really given me guidance and giving me a great experience and I felt the spirit so much.
