An unforgettable 8 Day family adventure from Syracuse, NY. to Kansas City, MO.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with us at Hi 5 Live Tours! Join us for our 2023 Fall Foliage Church History Tour (October 7-14) where we will be commemorating the 200-year anniversary of when the Angel Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith. On this 8-day adventure, we will make memories that will last a lifetime. You’ll be accompanied by our fantastic Tour Directors Josh Tilley and Steven Palmer along with our Special Guest Tour Guides Al Carraway and Craig Spjute who will help ensure that every moment of this trip is filled with fun and joy!
Day 1
Fly Into Syracuse, New York
Saturday, October 7
Day 1: Fly into Syracuse and get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Arrive before 6pm if possible and join us at a 7 pm banquet dinner and orientation at our hotel. Get some rest that night and prepare for the upcoming adventure.

Day 2
Priesthood Restoration Day
Sunday, October 8th
Day 2: Sunday morning we will attend church at the Peter Whitmer Farm. Feet away from the location where the church was organized. After Sacrament Meeting we will enjoy a delicious lunch amidst nature at the park at Taughannock Falls in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Then we will head to the Priesthood Restoration Site in what used to be known as Harmony Pennsylvania. We will also take a short walk down to the Susquehanna River. That evening we will have an amazing catered dinner at the quaint Red Rock Barn. We will head back to Syracuse and stay the night.

Day 3
Palmyra Day
Monday, October 9th
Day 3: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then hop on the bus as we head to Palmyra to visit the Smith Family Farm and the Sacred Grove. We will also head downtown for a tour of the Book of Mormon Publication Site (Grandin Press). Followed by lunch provided by Nima’s. End the day on a spiritual high with a testimony meeting on the bus en route to Niagara, NY where we have a special treat for everyone as we stop by Niagara Falls at night.

Day 4
Niagara Falls and Kirtland Day
Tuesday, October 10th
Day 4: Experience the majestic Niagara Falls on The Maid of The Mist and enjoy some free time for site seeing and shopping. We will have lunch at Evangola State Park before visiting the John Johnson Farm near Kirtland, OH that evening.

Day 5
Kirtland Day
Wednesday, October 11th
Day 5: In the mourning explore Historic Kirtland on guided missionary tours. Then we will go up the hill for a tour of the Kirtland Temple. We will provide lunch before stopping by The Morely Farm and then heading to Shipshewana, IN (Amish Country) to have dinner at the gorgeous Blue Garden Inn.

Day 6
Welcome to Nauvoo Day
Thursday, October 12th
Day 6: Start your day with a visit to Rentown Country Store in Breman for an Amish experience unlike any other before our longest drive of the trip as we head down toward Nauvoo. Don’t worry, we always stop at least every 2 hours to grab snacks, use restrooms, and stretch our legs. If you are up for it, you will have the option for a short visit to Nauvoo that evening and walk the Trail of Hope and watch the sunset on the Mississippi River. Or you can relax and have fun that evening at the Fun City Resort in Burlington, Iowa.

Day 7
Nauvoo Day
Friday, October 13th
Day 7: Enjoy breakfast at our hotel before leaving for a day full of exciting activities on the list full day of our tour in beautiful Nauvoo. You will have the opportunity to explore Historic Nauvoo and attend guided tours. Buses will shuttle people around as needed. You’ll get to visit the Nauvoo Temple and also stop by the Nauvoo Mercantile and other shops for some souvenirs. Afterward, we’ll head to Carthage and stand in the upper room. we’ll jump on the bus that evening to go to dinner on the Sunset Mark Twain dinner cruise on the Mississippi River. We’ll also have a movie and testimony meeting on the bus on the way to our hotel, making for a perfect end to your adventure.

Day 8
Liberty Jail Day
Saturday, October 14th
Day 8: We will wake up for our last tour of the trip at the powerful Liberty Jail before heading to the airport by noon.
