I took my 10 year old twins and my 78 year old dad with me on the Ultimate Family Church History Tour. This was one of the best experiences of my life. We didn't just visit historical sites of the restoration, we experienced them. This tour did everything to make our travel convenient and spiritual. The ages of the people of our group ranged from my kids age to my dad's age, and in the end, we were all family. I will always treasure this life changing experience. This was such a special and unique experience! I seriously loved this trip so much and am so grateful to have seen some of the most significant and important historic church sites. The spirit was present in every moment during our trip, at the sites, through leaders and youth and everywhere we went. I initially thought it’d be like Fsy on tour, and while there are similarities, it is a completely different experience all together. David lives in Thatcher, AZ, with his wife, Tia. Together, they are the proud parents of four children and have two wonderful grandchildren who are the highlights of their lives. After serving a mission in Perth, Australia, David returned home and pursued his dream of becoming a religious educator, a role he has now held for over 20 years. Early in his career, he became involved with EFY (Especially for Youth), where he has directed sessions across the United States for more than 18 years. David is passionate about speaking to and teaching youth, and his favorite story to share is how he met his wife, which he refers to as “The Greatest Love Story of All Time.” In addition to his career, David is an avid sports enthusiast and a semi-professional photographer. He and his friend Kori Andrew co-founded Hi 5 Live Tours, combining David’s love for teaching, travel, and the gospel.

Kori grew up in a little town called Mountain Home, ID. He and his wife Katie are the blessed parents of 6 children.

Kori recently completed his Master’s Degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. He has been a religious educator for ten years and enjoys speaking at EFY (now FSY), BYU Education Week, and other youth events. He loves jamming on his ukulele, watching Emperor’s New Groove with his kids, and eating refrigerated Cheez-It’s.

Throughout the tour, I felt the Spirit often as we visited important Church history sites and learned about the faith, sacrifice, and devotion of the early Saints. Hearing these stories where they actually happened made Church history feel real and helped deepen my appreciation for the restored gospel. Oh my gosh, this literally was most amazing experience. I am 18 and I just finished senior year in high school and have been not super sure what to do next with my life and this has really given me guidance and giving me a great experience and I felt the spirit so much. I’m just so grateful that I was able to go. I 100% recommend it! Even if you’re not thinking about a Mission or if you’re just wanting to go on a fun, faithful adventure literally do it!
