Adventure: We’ll take you to Belize’s most stunning snorkeling spots, where you can snorkel with sharks and rays.  We’ll go tubing through ancient Mayan caves, while encountering exotic wildlife, in one of the most beautiful countries in the world!

    Are there any large group deals?
    Yes. Please email Chelsy@hi5livetours.com with how many in your group and we’ll let you know what we can offer. 

    Refund Policy:

    • Within 48 hours of booking: Everything is fully refundable.
    • After 48 hours of booking: The deposit becomes non-refundable.
    • 90 + days before the trip: Full refund for all payments except the deposit.
    • 60-90 days before the trip: Half refund for all payments except the deposit.
    • Within 60 days before the trip: All payments become non-refundable.
    • Transferable Anytime: You can receive a full refund, except for the deposit, if you find someone to take your place.

    Airport & Transportation?
    We’ll fly into Belize City, Belize. Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE).

    Arrive anytime and we can transport you over to the resort to relax until check in.  Dinner and welcome will be around 6pm. Fly out after 2pm. The later in the day the better for transportation purposes.

    •  Youth Tours: Hi 5 Live will be there to transport you to the hotel and bring you back to the airport at the close. Hi 5 Leaders will meet youth at baggage claim. (Youth will be taken to the airport at the close and dropped off in their terminal. They will need to check in, navigate through security and find their gate. If additional assistance is needed please inform us).
    • Adults: For some tours there will be a shuttle. Other transportation will be your responsibility. This info varies, so we will communicate details that pertain to your tour via your tour’s Groupme, following booking.

    (For humanitarian tours, if you arrive within the timing of the itinerary, there will be shuttles to pick you up from the airport and drop you off at the lodge. We will be transported in big groups.).

    What is lodging like?

    We want to be upfront that the lodging in Belize is simple and communal. You’ll be staying in shared cabins, each with bunk beds. These cabins have multiple sinks, bathrooms, and showers, but it’s not a luxury resort. It’s all about the purpose of the trip and the connection we’re making there.

    When should I book my flights?
    There is no guarantee on price or availability, but we typically recommend booking 6 weeks prior to departure if possible.

    Who schedules my flights?

    Our guests are responsible for scheduling their own flights. However, for a fee, we do provide assistance with flights. Please contact Vanessa at (801)885-8990 or vanessahi5live@gmail.com.

    What documents or immunizations do I need to visit Belize?

    • You will need a passport to enter the country. You can find more information about applying for or renewing your passport here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
    • Prior to trip, fill out immigration form. Your airline should send a link.
    • ALL minors traveling outside the country with 1 or less parent are REQUIRED to have notarized letter of consent. You can find it here: https://docuseal.com/d/W4mVGWPcnUsmMS.  Please send a picture copy to Hi 5 once this document is complete and notarized. Original physical copy MUST be brought with minor.

    Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and PNC offer free notarizations to their customers. Other banks may offer free notarizations to their customers, as well as your local public library.

    No vaccinations are required.

    If you have any concerns or are at high risk you may consider this suggested vaccination list: measles, rubella, Diphtheria rabies, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid. 

    Is it safe?
    Yes. Members of our team have traveled there many times (some have lived there) and we have never felt unsafe. We will only go to safe areas and stay together in large groups. 

    Is the humanitarian work going to be difficult? Will I need any special skills or abilities?
    Nope. Everyone will be able to participate and contribute.

    David Palmer is the cofounder of Hi 5 Live Tours, where faith, history, service, and pure joy meet on the road. A lifelong teacher and storyteller, David has spent nearly 30 years as a religious educator in Seminaries & Institutes, helping young people deepen their faith in Jesus Christ and strengthen their understanding of the restored gospel. He holds a master’s degree in Human Relations from Northern Arizona University and brings a warm, gospel-centered approach to every journey he leads.

    Through Hi 5 Live Tours, David helps create unforgettable experiences—from Church History Tours and Belize Humanitarian Trips to Youth Adventures and the music-filled “Hear Hymn” Tours—all designed to help travelers feel the Spirit, deepen their testimony, and build meaningful connections.

    David travels with his favorite companion and eternal teammate, his wife, Tia, whom he married in 1997. Together, they are the proud parents of four and delighted grandparents. Whether he’s guiding a temple day, singing Restoration hymns on sacred ground, or handing a hammer to a teen in Belize, David’s goal is simple: help people hear Him, feel joy, and see the world through the lens of faith.

Visiting the places where so much of early Church history unfolded made the stories come alive in a way I never expected.     Oh my gosh, this literally was most amazing experience. I am 18 and I just finished senior year in high school and have been not super sure what to do next with my life and this has really given me guidance and giving me a great experience and I felt the spirit so much.
